Organized by the Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA), a not-for-profit association representing Canada’s advertising and marketing communications agencies, Advertising Unlimited took place on January 30-31, 2018. The event was hosted at leading agencies in major cities across Canada. Advertising Unlimited is a unique opportunity for anyone curious about working in the advertising industry — students and professionals of all disciplines and demographics.
Advertising Unlimited replaced Next Generation Day, an annual event held by the Institute of Communication Agencies since 2008. In an effort to be a more inclusive, progressive initiative to better meet the needs of today’s job seeker considering or exploring careers in advertising and marketing communications — Field Trip & Co was hired to rebrand the event. The objective was to appeal to a younger and more diverse audience, than in previous years. The bold colour combinations and dynamic wordmark had no problem standing out and demanding attention.
