Since 2001, Waterfront Toronto has created some of the city’s most beloved parks, destinations, and public spaces. However, public awareness of their role was limited. As such, Waterfront Toronto felt now was the time to begin communicating and showcasing their projects in a way that was generous, welcoming and fun.
The engagement – a pop-up that was both playful and engaging – was how Waterfront Toronto wanted to showcase their role in six completed public projects.
Field Trip & Co. designed the pop-up assets, created 6 custom illustrations to represent each project, as well as art directed two dioramas that people could discover by engaging with a series of interactive boxes designed for the space.
