Field Trip & Co
Ten teams participated in a six-week design competition and produced conceptual designs based on design briefs for York Street Park and Rees Street Park that outline the site conditions and required design elements that will ensure each park meets the neighbourhood’s unique needs.
At the end of the six-weeks, the final designs were put on public display at Toronto City Hall and online for a two-week public comment period. During this time, Torontonians are encouraged to review the designs and tell us what you think, as part of an online survey.
Field Trip & Co developed the branding to differentiate the two parks, and a Wordpress website to house the rfp’s, design submissions and facilitate community feedback on the individual proposals.
